Current Alpha And Roadmap
Ideagram is being validated with software architecture teams. This page keeps the product boundary explicit: use the available now column when making decisions; treat the roadmap as direction, not a promise.
| Available now | Exploring next |
|---|---|
| Project-scoped diagrams with their own components and connections. | A model-first layer that can be shared across diagrams. |
| UML and C4 diagram types, Mermaid import/export, and a visual canvas. | Richer flows and reusable model-driven views. |
| Pages, notes, folders, wiki links, diagram embeds, and draft/published/archive workflow. | Broader publishing and knowledge-system integrations. |
| MCP access for compatible clients and project-context tools. | More agent workflows and CI/automation loops. |
| Organization roles, collaboration primitives, versions, and locks. | Expanded realtime collaboration and governance. |
A note on the model
Today, a Diagram owns its own visual data. Linking a component to an optional model entity adds context, but does not make every diagram a shared global canvas. That distinction is intentional and matters when deciding how to structure a project.
Help shape the roadmap
The most useful feedback is specific: a workflow you could not express, a diagram you could not explain, or a client/agent integration you need. Use the contact form to send product feedback, request alpha access, or join the contributor list.
