Drafts And Publication
Pages In Ideagram
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
draft | Work in progress. |
published | Marked as published in the document workflow. |
archived | Retained content that can be filtered separately. |
Save the document to persist edits. Changing status does not make a page publicly accessible or create an editors-only permission boundary. Access still follows organization/workspace/project permissions. There is no generic review document status.
Decision records and specs have additional statuses in their metadata: decisions use proposed, accepted, or superseded; specs use draft, active, or superseded. These do not replace the document status.
With an MCP propose token, decision/spec upserts are queued for review. This is a pending-change workflow, not a review state for every page. Other write tools are not automatically queued. See MCP token scopes.
Diagrams have their own lifecycle: draft, active, deprecated, and archived.

Contributors can exclude a Docusaurus page from production using front matter:
---
title: Upcoming Feature
draft: true
---
Docusaurus drafts are visible during local development and omitted from production builds. They are unrelated to the status of a Page stored in Ideagram.
