Working With Diagrams
Create And Open
Choose a blank diagram or a template in your project. New diagrams receive an available default name such as New diagram and New diagram (1). Rename the diagram to describe its purpose.
When switching diagrams or leaving a page with unsaved edits, follow the save/discard/cancel prompt. Check the save indicator before navigating away.
Nodes And Connectors
Drag nodes to arrange them. Selecting or moving a node does not open its properties; double-click it or use the explicit Properties action. The properties sheet floats over the canvas.
Create a connector by dragging from a connection point to another node's connection point. Facing, aligned connection points can use a straight route when there is no obstacle or manually specified route. Other arrangements may bend to avoid nodes.
New connector labels start without a background. Select the connector to change its label and styling, including the background option. Captions are placed clear of nodes and in front of diagram content.
Mermaid And Templates
Templates are starting points that remain editable. For imported code, inspect the resulting participants, messages, branch labels, and relationships. Mermaid compatibility explains the current limits.
Pages And Recovery
Opening a Page gives it a separate tab alongside Canvas. Embedded diagrams start as previews; enable interaction to pan/zoom and use Open diagram to edit.
Deleted diagrams can be recovered from trash. Pages, notes, and folders also have a recoverable deletion workflow. Review the confirmation before deleting a container with content.
If a view fails to load after a deployment, refresh it. If the failure repeats during a particular canvas action, capture the steps and any error reference shown; a generic load error does not establish that a new deployment caused it.
