MCP Examples
These are copy-ready prompts for a connected MCP client. Select the token scope appropriate for the task. The server does not know which diagram is open in your browser; let the client discover and select a resource first. A prompt requesting read-only behavior does not change the token scope.
Inspect Diagrams
Use Ideagram MCP to list my diagrams. Then open the most recent UML diagram and summarize its components and relationships.
Create A Small UML Diagram
Use Ideagram MCP to discover my projects, ask which project to use if ambiguous, then create a UML diagram with User, Session, and AuthService. Connect User to Session with an association and AuthService to Session with a dependency. Validate the diagram afterwards.
Link Diagram Nodes To The Project Model
Use Ideagram MCP to list my diagrams, ask me which one to link, and backfill model links for the selected diagram ID. Then list the created model entities and relationships.
Export Mermaid
Use Ideagram MCP to find the diagram named API Architecture in my projects, ask me to disambiguate any matches, and export its diagram ID as Mermaid. If any nodes are unsupported, explain what was skipped.
Read-Only Review
Use Ideagram MCP with a read-scoped token to list and select a C4 diagram, inspect it and suggest missing relationships. Do not modify the diagram.
