Claude Code Client

Connect Claude Code to your Ideagram account using remote HTTP and a personal access token. No repository checkout or user-ID lookup is required.

Create A Token

Sign in to Ideagram, open Settings > MCP Access, and create a token named Claude Code. Choose the scope you need and copy the idg_pat_... value shown once. See token scopes.

Add The Server

Run this command, replacing the placeholder with your token:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user --header "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_IDEAGRAM_TOKEN>" ideagram https://ideagram.dev/mcp

This stores the server in your personal Claude Code configuration. Keep the token out of shared project files; entering a literal secret in a terminal can retain it in shell history.

Check the connection:

claude mcp get ideagram

Inside Claude Code, use /mcp to inspect the server. Then ask it to list your Ideagram organizations and projects. Adding the configuration successfully is separate from authenticating and connecting successfully.

These commands follow Claude Code's MCP documentation.

Permissions

Use a read token for inspection. A write token can apply permitted edits. propose queues decision/spec upserts for review; it does not queue every kind of write.

These Claude Code commands are not instructions for the Claude web or desktop app.
